This Flash animation lesson demonstrates how to play a Form 2 major scale in the key of 'A.. On the next page, you will see an animated diagram. The diagram shows the guitar in the same orientation as if you were watching a video.
This scale sounds different from the previous two Flash examples, because it starts on 'B' instead of starting on 'A.' Even though it doesn't start on the '1' note of the scale, it's still an 'A' major scale.
It's important to use the fingerings shown in the animations. Each note in the Flash animations shows a fingering:
- I= Index
- M = Middle
- R = Ring
- L = Little
