The Rock/Blues Scale - More Pentatonic Positions
Here are diagrams for all five positions of the pentatonic scale. All of these examples are in the key of 'A minor.' These shapes can be moved up or down the neck, so they can be played in any key. These same shapes can also be used for major pentatonic scales.
The notes in red are all 'A' notes.
The diamonds in the diagrams below are inlaid fret markers at the 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th and 12th frets.
