("Guitar" is singular. Please don't confuse with "gregsguitars". )
You can learn to play the music you love with a visual, play-by-ear approach. You can learn to interact with music directly, without reading notes. Learn to play in real time with real music.
Schedule whenever it’s convenient. There’s no contract, no commitment, no future obligation. Drop in whenever you want, disappear for as long as you want. I don’t require regular practice time. There are no guilt trips.
Many of my students can’t practice except during their lessons, so I turn their lesson time into practice time. My emphasis is on making you a better player, not necessarily teaching new stuff. It doesn’t take long until you have enough skills to put them to work. Playing with songs is putting your skills to work. Playing with tracks is training and conditioning for putting your skills to work.
Those students who can’t practice during the week are still playing chord changes to real songs in a couple of weeks. You can get impressive after only a few weeks with just 45 minutes practice per week. I recommend 15 min/day, 3 days a week. Of course, the more time you put into it, the more you get out of it.
Guided Practice Page
Each of my online students gets a personal guided practice page. My custom guided practice videos ensure you’re getting the most from your practice time. Just start the video and follow along to the end.
The true measure of your ability as a player is your ability to play with real music. Practicing with my custom play-along tracks help you to develop a strong sense of rhythm and groove. They are well-performed, well-produced and stylistically authentic. Don’t take my word for it. Click on the link below, and see for yourself. (Redirects to HoustonGuitar.Com. Links back to this page.)
