Example 10   Beginning With A Fretted Note & Crossing To A Fretted String   This is the second example to begin with a fretted note. This example is played on the highest three strings (E, B and G). This example adds two notes (on the 3rd string) to the last example.

1 -- Pick the open high string. Let the note ring for a moment.

2 -- Place your finger on the high string at the 3rd fret.

3 -- Pick the high string. Let the note ring for a moment.

4 -- Remove your finger from the string.

5 -- Pick the open 2nd string. Let this note ring for a moment.

6 -- Place your finger on the 2nd string at the 3rd fret.

7 -- Pick the 2nd string. Let the note ring for a moment.

8 -- Remove your finger from the string.
